About This Site

Practical guides for people who want Tor, PGP, and wallet setup to actually work — not marketing pages that gloss over the hard parts.

What this site is

This is a collection of hands-on guides about Tor Browser, PGP encryption, bridge configuration, VPN layering, Tails, and the basics of cryptocurrency wallets. The audience is anyone who needs accurate setup help — someone who downloaded Tor, got stuck on the security slider, and doesn't want to dig through three wikis to find a straight answer.

Topics range from "why won't Tor connect" to "how do I verify a signed message" to "what's the difference between leaving Bitcoin on an exchange and holding your own keys." Nothing here assumes you're already a privacy expert.

How content is made

Every guide is written and edited by hand. No content farms, no auto-generated filler. When a page says Safest mode disables JavaScript site-wide, that's because the Tor Browser Manual says so — and I re-check it when Tor ships a new version.

Technical claims get compared against official documentation from the Tor Project, Tails, and getmonero.org. If those docs change, the guides get another pass. Stale instructions are worse than no instructions, so outdated steps get fixed or removed rather than left to rot.

Who maintains it

One person runs the editorial side. All content is written by Admin — background on the author page.

What we are not

We're not a software vendor. We don't ship Tor Browser, Tails, or any wallet app. We're not affiliated with any third-party platform or service — no partnerships, no "official" status with anyone else's product. We don't sell tools, subscriptions, or premium access to anything.

Everything here is educational. Double-check critical steps against the official docs before you rely on them for something important. That's good practice regardless of where you read it.

Staying current

When guides get added, restructured, or when site-wide changes roll out, it gets logged on the updates page. That's the place to see what changed and when — no need to guess from a footer date on a random article.
